Ice breaker!

This journal page was inspired when I saw Blue Planet on TV a few weeks ago. I love anything to do with sea life, but whales are a particular favourite. I've used acrylic paint and modelling paste for the whale's tail and  the iceberg's. Then I've added detailing with Jane Davenports magic wand pencils. I'm going to enter this at "Try it on a Tuesday- Fire & Ice"

One of My favourite things, Mermaids!

This year one of the things I'm going to be working on is my drawing skills, I love stamping and will still be incorporating that into my art journals but I really want to discover my own style and see what I can do. Anyway here is my mermaid, I'm quite pleased although as you can see she has no face, as currently I'm terrible at faces! So we will just have to use our imagination. Happy new year to all. I will try my best to put something on here once a month for now as things are not good at home (poorly mother in law living with us) Here's to staying positive and learning to draw this year! X
